I got three stamps on a delivery yesterday with knives on them? I was wondering what they were for.
You can have them if you want Dita, I won't send them via Stephen because he will just eat them!

Morning all, should say afternoon, sorry tobe solate with hugs andkisses, behind with everything today. Young garden chappie just gone. No more now until next Thursday. Hopefully it will just be the lawns. Pleased him today, apart from the bread I made, gave him a kiddies three wheeler, for his little boy. We usually kept it in view on the front porch, a good sign for people not to disturb the youngster, but his little chappie is almost ready so now put to better use. After lunch, just clearing away and the heavens opened, before long the whole place was covered white with heavy hail, looked as though we were covered in snow.
OH went for his usual siesta and phone rings, he forgot his surgery appoint for warfrine ??check. Hope everyone is O.K. with no mishaps today. How did hubby get on yesterday Dita, and hope OH is better with his legs problem Andere. Take care all and hopefully, have a good day. cheers Penny. :please:

Good afternoon, all. Well, not so good climate-wise; it's almost dark aready, cold and siling down with rain. This morning was cold but at least it was sunny. I'm just waiting for my grocery order to arrive and this is one wet miserable day when I'm really glad I don't have to go out for it! OH's leg seems improved today so fingers crossed we're on the right track. :) I went for an eye test this morning and, while all is currently well and no changes are needed to my contacts prescription, she thinks I've got the vaguest beginning of cataracts! 'Strewth, I went in there like a normal, moderately happy, well-balanced (?) individual and tottered out 40 minutes later feeling like an old woman - aaaaaagh! Optometrist says don't worry, nothing needs to be done for a long time yet, if at all. Me, I worry when people say don't worry! I noticed that one of the Kindle Daily Deals today was a book on dealing with anxiety; maybe I should get it!
Lucy K has the right idea about this afternoon; she sent purrs to all before curling up tightly to sleep in a chair.

Stupid me, been worrying about 'no post' from Dita, on previous page of course. So pleased. Hope all goes well with hubby next week and doggie enjoying lots of hugs. . With the young gardener again so OH tied up all morning. Do hope after this week we can enjoy some decent weather (and with luck better moods). Sitting silently for an hour, doesn't like music. Nearly all programmes are repeats so I spend most of the evenings doing crosswords. Pleased outside is nearly all over. Take care. cheers Penny

OH took doggie for walkies today along with your hugs Penny, a chilly one again. While OH was tied up yesterday, were you giving your young gardener a few treats Penny? :roflmao: I was itching to say that :roflmao: Hope you had a good lunch and managed a natter with your son, also good if you managed plenty bargains. Where do the days go it already teatime, keep your pecker up Penny :) and take care all.

Hi Dita, stop itching and have a good scratch. Chance with the young man would be a fine thing when I said OH was tied up I did mean following young chap and his progress round the place. Loves telling folk what needs to be done and how to do it. Doing it is another thing. Had lunch with son thank goodness. As he might not be back from too-ing and frow -ing he has to do with his daughter on Sunday, brought my card and pressie. She has gone to the Malvern hills for three days for the Duke of Edinburgh award scheme and then she is off for a week in Spain on Sunday. All go. Pleased all your worries are over now, take care. cheers Penny

Hi Penny meant to tell you, the night before last I had a surprise we were settled down for the night 8.30 ish when a knock at the front door and in came my D.I.L she was working in Sheffield the next day and had driven up from Kent where she lives and decided to come and visit for a couple of hours after she realised where we lived was not far from Sheffield, we get on really well and I was so happy to see her. My son was left in Kent to sit their daughter because of school commitments. I have already their Mothers days gift after being ordered not to open. Then last night my Grandson rang for a natter which is rather unusual he often texts but rarely chats, he lives at Bristol so too far for us to meet very often. This sort of thing means much to me because everyone despite their busy lives takes the trouble to bother about us. Good Luck for her Duke of Edinburgh. Dont know about you but Spain would be warmer :) take care x

Mornin' all! Gad, it's cold! Weatherwoman says it's getting warmer but there's not much sign yet, despite some sunny spells. A week in Spain sounds very appealing .... I hope it's not too cold and miserable for dog walks. Lucy K thinks it's too cold and miserable to be an outside cat today; she dashed out for about 5 minutes and soon came galloping home. Since then, she's been mooching about in a very restless way, probably trying to avoid me because, somehow, when I got to my desk this morning, the mouse-mat was covered in cat hairs :dunno:

Hope OH's heart check goes OK, Penny. I had to have one of those ultrasound heart scans a few years ago and they made me so comfortable I fell asleep! I couldn't believe I'd done it when the technician woke me because I'd been absolutely terror-struck and gibbering when I went in there (anything medical terrifies me!) Yes, thanks, Penny, the knee is almost OK now unless I twist it without thinking. OH's leg isn't any worse and he's convinced himself it's improving so, it's everything crossed that it continues!

Hope everyone manages to get out and enjoy the promised sunshine this weekend and purrs and hugs to all. :grouphug:

Hi Penny, Andere and all, hope his heart check goes well Penny, my hubby goes for a heart scan in couple of weeks. L Katt has sense it was a cold walkies today, thank goodness for those hugs, made doggie much warmer. My cousin who lives on boat called today he say he is as snug as a bug in a rug living on his boat, it is a year since he purchased it, wow! how time fly's. Hope you are having a good meet up with your friends today Penny, have you got time to eat between your chatter :) Shall the 3 of us from here nip over to Spain for a few days and have a warm in case the weatherman is wrong? Keep chin up Penny :) and take care all xx
