Hi Penny and all. We lurvs Poirot as well, and still watch repeats of his over and over without getting bored. So pleased you enjoyed the evening Penny, would do you the power of good. Sunny walkies and hugs gave doggie much pleasure today, she is now waiting for your truly to play a game of football as me weeds the neglected garden. Nothing more to report apart from the fact my friend is remaining on the coronary ward, must pay her a visit next week, onother friend is going today. Keep smiling Penny :) and take care all.

Morning Dita and all. Weather just right for walkies along with hugs and kisses. Keep getting cut off. Just shown OH details of show in July. Remember Gene Kelly Singing in the Rain. He says, we must book and go to see that. Will have to see if we get there. Hope all are well and enjoying the weather I arranged for the weekend. Ha ha. Take care and have a good day. Penny

Hi Penny and all, I can see Gene Kelly spinning round that lamp post with his umbrella just at the mention :) Not very sunny here and quite chilly, cloud must be blocking the hugs when on doggie walk this morning, could feel the warmth though. Nothing planned apart from preparing Shepherds Pie for later. Been exchanging texts with my Grandson today he is around Snowden and the slate quarries, he climbs mountains with his ex uni friends, do not think he is planning to do Snowden today, relief relief, he was climbing last week in the south of France. Think your hubby is at hospital this week if I remember right Penny, keep smiling :) and take care .

Some of the sunshine sneaked away from Penny and went to Harlow this afternoon - it's been lovely there. OH and I went along for a vintage bus-running day and had a great time. The modern bit of Harlow is like something out of Soviet Russia but the older parts and the roads and villages around are utterly beautiful. I've never seen so many horse chestnut trees all together and all in flower - wow!
Glad you enjoyed your theatre trip Penny and hope Dita's dog-walks weren't too bad, despite the lack of sunshine. Must get OH to lay the table now, it's time for supper :please:

Hi Penny, Andere and all. I am so very late today, after hugs and doggie walkies decided on a bit of gardening after which the hoover came out for a clean up of rubbish on floor because of someone paddling in and out during garden purge????who. Have just prepared a pasta bake for tea easy because I am exhausted, which doesn't take much doing these days. Would have loved the vintage bus run day Andere how relaxing. Hope L Katt has enjoyed the sunshine today. Could just eat a slice of your fresh bread Penny, your gardener is a very lucky young man. Anyway keep smiling Penny :) and take care Andere and all.

Hi Penny and all, do not worry Penny we did get those hugs they warmed us as we were on our doggie walk this morning, it is cloudy and sunny today. I do know what you are talking about as regards energy levels, I seem to get more and more days like that, sometimes I wonder how much of it is due to anxiety and stress. Will be thinking of you lots tomorrow (Hugs). Just picked a load of Rhubarb it has thrived this year, a large crumble in mind. Keep your chin up :) and take care all. Purrs to L Katt .

Hi Penny and all. Was thinking about you today, your hugs came well in time for doggie walk, weather sounds much the same as yours. Electricity Board is at the moment removing the protective covering from the outside wiring, job almost done on the house now apart from a little drain pipe problem already discussed on here. Hope you are having an enjoyable lunch Penny. Oh! yes I remember bag of sugar and stick of rhubarb, the crumble was lovely, thanks.
Hope all ok, keep smiling Penny :) and take care all.

Hi, all - I just finished off my lunch with a bowl of stewed rhubarb and yogurt - yum! We used to eat it raw with a bag of sugar, too. Makes my teeth go all peculiar just thinking about it now!
Lucy K sends thanks for the purrs; she's sure she'll really need them cos she's now in the jail known to us as the luxury cat hotel so we can go off on our travels in the morning. She has a double-sized run all to herself, with a window so she can see outside; the cattery owners welcomed her with strokes and chin rubs and cries of delight, promised her favourite food ... and still the little wretch behaves as though she's being ill-treated and abused!!
We're supposed to be setting off oop North in the morning but the weather forecast is terrible for the next week and OH has just come in and informed me the bliddy car's losing water again so we may not get there. :groaner: All being well I'll be back around about 19th of this month so please do all take care while I'm gone.
Sorry, Penny, I don't know much about burning feet but it sounds horrible. Maybe you should see a doc if it continues? Could it be athlete's foot or some similar infection?
