My pleasure! I'm always delighted when other people enjoy my stuff

I'm starting to think you're right. We had an email last week from Virgin Media, our isp, to say they are sending us a new router to handle their new, upgraded fast broadband speeds and to please contact them to arrange a delivery date. OH arranged that they'd deliver tomorrow, Tuesday and confirmed there'd be someone here to sign for it. Yesterday, we had another email confirming that they'll be delivering on Sat 28th. OH then phoned them to say we'll be away then until mid-July and why isn't it being delivered on Tuesday as arranged? The reply? "Er... I don't know. So don't you want it?" Aaaaaaaaaaagh!! Eventually, they agreed to deliver on 19th July but, honestly, I'm not holding my breath!
It's very, very warm and muggy here. Occasional outbreaks of sunshine but mostly cloud and it's very energy-sapping. There's a few thunderstorms around and I wish we could have one to clear the air. Lucy K is very indolent and laid-back; she looks all floppy as if someone's removed all the bones! She does sympathise with Dolly about the claw-trimming. Every so often she gets taken to the vet to have hers done because they get too long to retract properly. It must be years of practice makes it look easy because he'll just idly pick up a paw, squeeze gently and make a soothing noise and out come the claws to be neatly trimmed as simply as my fingernails while she gazes adoringly at him! If I tried, I strongly suspect I'd have no hands or face left within seconds. Of course, there then has to be days and weeks of stropping the carpets, furniture and anything else forbidden to get the claws back to form again
Hope everyone's OK and not too many aches and pains around and that the hay-fever's not getting folk down too much. The pollen levels seem very high today. I had a major sneezing fit in the middle of Debenhams this morning and, the way other people reacted, I felt a little like a plague carrier and thought I'd get asked to leave at any moment!
