Weather today

Morning all, funny old day again weather just cannot make up its mind. At the moment, it is very dull and very windy. I too enjoyed the ladies games and look forward to many more. It would be wonderful if our group won the cup this year,fingers crossed everyone. So pleased to hear from you Laurie, just pop in more if only to say a word about the weather. We miss you. Thought I would show you the mural on the wall of a cafe in North Walsham, Norfolk where Lauren lived and went to school, her parents still live here, not sure where she lives now but is often in town, it was a bit of a 'do' to start with, but it's still there.

Great. I am so pleased about their progress, can't wait for the final. Odd weather again here and rather windy. A little colder too hence my electric knee blanket back in use. Wonder if the socks will be about today. Take care all. cheers.

Strange, it is still very windy and dull but as soon as rain was forecast it has got a little warmer. Had to turn off my knee blanket so it seems you wont be needing socks. Looking out it is very cloudy, wonder what it is like in Kent. cheers

Good afteroon from a chilly Kent.It is windy still but dull.Has been quite cloudy.Socks on my feet today.

Seems a long day to me.Its only 3.30pm.Will have to go back and do somemore jigsaw puzzle,before I nod off.

Logan is on the lastweek of his holiday.Doesn't look like that I will be spending a couple of nights at their house.But I will go and see a lady my daughter in law cleans for.She is 91 so don't want to let her down.So I will have a coffee and chat with her.Show her my lilac/mauve hair.

Hope Logan and crew have had a wonderful time. Give him a big hug when he finally reaches home. Got warmer again this afternoon so knee blanket off. Wish the weather would make up its mind. My son came this p.m. and showing him the picture of the lady footballer, he said we have the same kind in Newport Pagnell. Wish I could go and see it. Sun has suddenly appeared. As you say, strange weather, had a game of bowls this afternoon, [socks on] had a litter shower of rain then hot sun, hoping for a nice week and weekend.

Evening time.Has been a dry windy and sunny day.I did go for a stroll to the shop this morning.Big deal.

Watched the Sweden/Spain game last night. WOW what a game! It's a bit strange watching when you don't mind who wins but it was well worth it!

As you say, a little summer at last. Watched the football and nearly fell off my seat at the first score, then to get two more I just could not believe it. Pray now for the match on Sunday hoping our ladies will beat Spain. cheers.

Rather dull here too, Had a little rain this morning but feel certain there is lots more to come. Hope you enjoy your game with or without socks. My birds seem to have taken offence at the weather and I don't see them much now. Can't wait for the match on Sunday. Fingers crossed that we win, help to cheer us up because the weather won't. Not a bad day here after the downpour yesterday when I got soaked.A few of us went for a ride on the open top bus.But there was so many children at the bus stop for upstairs on the bus we had to sit inside the bus.Coming back the seats would have been too wet,so we got the normal one back.
The dogs enjoyed their ride on the bus.

Don't forget the final football match Sunday morning,hope England win.
