Good plan not to go swimming today .It is colder now the evening is here.I went out well wrapped up today and walked 3,287 steps at least I was warm.

Ive a few appointments to go to this week so don't want any snow yet.On Thursday evening Iam going to a pantomine to see Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs with Daughter in law and Logan.Should be fun.

After dinner tonight I am going into bed early to watch tv.Much warmer in my bedroom than the living room with the rad on.

Have a good evening all and keep warm.

Now they are telling us gale warnings, roll on spring.

We have had more rain than snow here.I got soaked this morning as I had no choice in going out.But I rather have wet weather than the white stuff.

Hope the snow is melting fast for you Widget.

I enjoyed the Pantomine last night Snow white and the 7 dwarfs the theatre was packed out. There were a lot of elderly people and young folk plus a few children.

Will go into bed now,as its warmer in my bedroom and can watch tv in there. So goodnight sweet dreams :roflmao:

Good evening All,
Today was sunny but very cold, today I had a Iceland shop delivered as decided I am fed up with loading and unloading the shopping into the trolley at the desk it's getting to be hard work.
Margaret and I were looking for a certain coat we fancied so we went to a shopping centre called Westwood Cross with many shops, anyway we walked into 5 shops and there was the coat we wanted in shop number 5.
It's called a Duvet coat long and warm as its padded with a concealed hood.
I am ready for the rough weather.
Glad your snow has gone Widget rain is better.

All snow gone, am hoping to get back to normal, booked swim for tomorrow then short mat bowls.

I always prefer to go to Iceland, so I can see the amount I buy and make sure it will fit in the freezer. Frighten I might lose control if I buy online,

That coat sounds good bet it's nice and warm. Have been doing a hard jigsaw, almost felt like putting it all back in the box,

Good afternoon,
I just had a nice walk to the doctors with my daughter to make an appointment for a hearing test,so now have a number to call and arrange it.
Then we carried on walking to Tecos,it's a nice day a bit windy but dry and was nice walking and having a chat.
I have a Tesco express near by so handy it's like my corner shop very handy.
The garden is looking rather bleak and we have had so much rain the grass is really soaked, and the geraniums are looking green which is good to see..
Tomorrow if its dry I may go in the garden for a while have a tidying up session.
Have a jolly weekend everyone.

had a nice weekend, went to lunch with daughter and husband and in-laws, very nice,
Got son coming tomorrow for a few days, nice to see him as he now live a long way away and only comes up here about twice a year, but its hard work, as he likes to do a lot and eat a lot!!! he is taking me out for a meal Wednesday. So today I will have a relaxing swim then go for a 'big' shopping trip.

That hard puzzle I said I was doing, well I don't often do it, but I gave up, and put it all back in the box. now started a nice one, I hope!!!

Don't worry if i disappear till end of week.

Yes I am pleased it's got a lot warmer and having the heating on all day.
It's lovely and sunny here at the moment and dry, hubby went for an eye test at spectators which is in Sainsbury's so I went with him and shopped alone which was pleasant.
I do not like going in lifts and so pleased I didn't today as it broke down with him in it,he said he wasn't scared,i would have been petrified, he did say the lights stayed on,plus the conveyer belt wasn't working either and it wasn't Saturday.
I am waiting for amazon to deliver a book on learning to crochet I done it years ago and have watched you tube but want the book beside me.
Have a nice time with your son Widget, enjoy not having to cook Wednesday.
