Can't go into exact detail because the question may not have been seen yet by some of you.........since individually we get different quizzes on different days.
The question gives a choice of four tube stations, and asks 'If you have travelled northwards on the Northern Line from Euston Mainline station, which is the first tube station 'you get out at'? Nice little twist there because the very nearest one was closed from 1992 to 1998, however I gave that name because this is, after all, 2006.
No, it was deemed wrong and the correct answer 'should be' the station after that. So they are treating it AS FROM 1992 to 1998 when the first station stayed closed.
I used to travel on there twice a day in the sixties and followed the developements of the Northern Line with interest. The American quiz people are being ridiculous in saying wrongly where 'you get out at'. They are EIGHT YEARS out of date.
This is not the first, but the third time, I have found them years out of date with an answer. Could be many other instances. One of them was about Greg Dyke being BBC boss, another was a political leader.
