As winter is on its way thought this might be handy for some. Make your own salts.

1/4 lb. Epsom salts
1/4 lb Glauber salts
Mix together and add--

1/3 of 1/4lb pack of Bi-carb.

Use 1 teaspoon in tea or hot water every morning.

Cheers Penny.

That reminded me of 'Fynnon Salts' remember? The tin was green and red, kidney shaped. It seems to have vanished off the market.

I remember my grandma having a tin of those Jo and I'm sure I've seen them in chemists - will look next time I'm in one.

Surely both those salts are more than slightly laxative?

Still, if it's only a teaspoonful per day, there shouldn't be too much of the 'runs'!

Would also serve as a cough Mixture.
You wouldn't dare cough.
