I shall not be going anywhere Vannin, I am almost institutionally stuck to my little oasis and I am grateful for not having to join the rat race, there is much going on which quite honestly spends so much of the time arguing with its self, and now we have got Boris's ex power that be at it too, obviously hunting for blood--------cannot do with it, thanks.
Didn't tell you when I was doing my little attempt at go-karting I damaged my knee , that was that. :( hee .
Its too hot for me and poor Dolly. xxx

The heatwave looks set to come to an end this weekend - as a Met Office weather warning has been Issued for all of Buckinghamshire.
The yellow weather warning for rain is in force from midnight on Saturday morning (July 24) until 11.59pm on Sunday night.
The warning covers the entire county, including Milton Keynes, High Wycombe, Aylesbury and Beaconsfield.
But another heatwave is due nationwide after next week!

The weather seems to have gone mad! Floods in Europe, fires in USA, floods in China and also in our South Island. The end is nye!!!
Civilisation is a veneer, easily soluble in alcohol.

The night felt more bearable with a little breeze, and again this morning. Two of the four rotary fans have given up through age,(must have been about 30 years old) so I have ordered two more from Amazon.

There was not the heavy rain yet just light showers in the night. Tomorrow has unfavourable changes - the storms - in the local forecast.

It is still muggy though,Penny.I went to see little Logan,he was playing in his paddling pool this afternoon. He wanted me to sit near him,but I didn't want to get soaked.

How are you doing Penny?Done anything exciting.

I was the only one on the bus this morning, mask on too.I noticed the driver had one on too.Loads of people are still wearing facemasks.

Take care everyone.

So pleased you managed to see Logan. I had a call on Thursday from James. He had to return as his housemate were all finishing this year and he needs new room mates for his next year there. Says he will pop home in a couple of weeks just before new term and he will be over to see me. If allowed due to this infection. Seems it is very bad there. He said he had a couple of days not very well, one of his room mates very poorly. Lucky James has already had his jabs. As for me, Dull as ditchwater. Take care and big hug for Logan. Cheers Penny

Sorry folk, realize this should have been on another thread

Suddenly the sky is very dark and looks as though we are about to have torrential rain.
