Morning all. Rather dull today and quite warm. No rain so far and looks as though it will bypass us for the next few days.

Icy start here and promises of colder to come! Must stock the firewood box! :-)

Hot and sunny here, always enjoy watching the Red Arrows which is often because they live nearby. Yippee!

The arrows will set off from RAF Fairford at 2.06pm, making an appearance through Gloucestershire and Northamptonshire before performing their Silverstone display at 2.15pm in front of the racing crowds.

They will fly past Silverstone once again at 2.46pm, after flying just north of Cosgrove which is near to Milton Keynes, then through Northamptonshire and Oxfordshire.

The Red Arrows will then cross into Buckinghamshire, flying just west of Buckingham and over Gawcott and Twyford before crossing back into Oxfordshire.

The squadron will then touch down six minutes before the F1 starts at 3pm back at RAF Fairford. The entire route will take them 48 minutes.

I'm not far behind you Vannin, my ex husband built himself a go-kart years ago and he and his friend took up racing on a local level, I did have ago now and again but not actual racing. Today is very humid, quite cloudy at times but the heat is still there even when the sun disappears. Take care all-----now you are free ????

I am not falling over myself to adopt this freedom. If anything, I feel more cautious than I have been. Yes, hot-hot-hot is to last another week, I have nearly had enough now. What a wet blanket impression I give!
