A cockroach is better than having a poisonous spider in banana like I had many years ago Dita. Did I ever tell the tale?. This is going back about 60 years.
Been VERY wary of bananas ever since then and they have to be really green when I buy them with NO splits in them.

Morning Maggie. We left three head chopper traps and one humane trap down last night but I haven't been to see if we've caught it yet.
I'm waiting for Tony to get up go see...

Poor little thing be damned.

Roaming every where, dribbling disease infested urine all the time, including on work surfaces.

Won't be such a poor thing if you get Leptospirosis, which can be serious.

If you get any mild flu like symptoms see your GP at oncw. Your husband already has muscle pain which may mask the symptoms until they get to a dangerous level.

Get some poison down.

One mouse isnt going to cause health issues surely,i know someone who had to move out as they were swarming with mice and had to have the mice sorted, plus getting rid of all furniture etc and start over again.

It can get anywhere, Janet, and it would normally make for food which means kitchen and work tops which Carol will be cleaning very well. I have no idea how much damage one mouse could do but they certainly aren't hygienic. Of course flies have the same reputation and it's impossible to stay completely fly free but we seem to survive. :rolleye11:

I watched one of the US "Hoarders" TV programmes yesterday afternoon and one house had inches deep, wall to wall, mouse faeces
after the removal of all the piled up stuff was cleared. The woman was still alive and kicking, although she suffered from crippling headaches apparently.

Do hope you will soon be arranging a funeral for the little fella.

:roflmao: :roflmao: Wish I could better your remarks but cannot think what to put, yours is too good
That little mouse has been keeping Carol's active mind busy, also a good selling point for the mouse trap company's which
is good for the economy.
Am now burying my head in the sand :bighugs:

:roflmao: You're making a good case for the defence, dita, but the prosecution suggests that it's highly likely that mouse traps are made in China these days. :rolleye11:

Well Monika you have got me now, I cannot argue and have to admit about the fact China is into everything, without any doubt YOU are the champion and the only thing I can do is plead for that poor little mouse's life and hope your heart will be kind to a little creature of our world. ( If not your nose will drop off) xxx

We didn't see the mouse at all last night and usually once an evening we'll see him darting under the furniture.
I'm hoping he's left us.

The humane trap and 3 head chopper traps are still set but I give up hope of catching him...

Sounds promising CJ ..... I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Hi dita ................ your faith in humanity will now be restored when I tell you that the only problems I have ever encountered with mice was years ago when we found a canvas gazebo chewed to pieces when we got it from the garage to put it up one summer's day. We went out and purchased humane traps, which we baited with Cadbury's fruit and nut and, when we caught the little blighters, we duly took them one by one into the wooded areas of the local park and released them there. (I think you had to take them at least a half a mile away but it was more than that and over a busy road too).

This probably explains why, many years later, my nose is still firmly attached just above my top lip.
