Hi, all - at last the sun has come out: around 10 to 5 after a very grey day. Huh! Not much going on here; I didn't sleep well, kept having strange, unsettling dreams and now I'm too tired to concentrate properly on anything. At least my knee continues to improve - my problem now is remembering not to do anything silly and set it off again, like jiving to the radio in the kitchen while I wait for things to boil ....

I hope sorting out a suitable table fixes your shoulder, Penny. Stupid how ordinary, pleasant things can set off stress injuries, isn't it? ~Oh, just read your latest post. Maybe it's the way that you sit while using it that's causing the problem?
How's the stone-throwing, Dita? Not sure I could cope with having stuff chucked at the house with me still in it; I'd have had to go out for the day to escape the stress. When our neighbours had their house pebble-dashed, years ago now, they told us they were going to do it but we were out at work while it was going on. I hadn't been prepared for the quantity of pebbles that landed all over our garden and windowsills. When we got home, it looked like we'd had our front gravelled!
OH is getting all tarted up for one of his (old)boys' nights out. Great - I can have an early bath and a mug of camomile tea and (hopefully) be dead to the world by the time he staggers home.
