There’s a mouse in our living room.
I saw it a week ago and again last night – it ran from beneath the sofa and darted under a wall unit.
We’ve been trying to catch it for over a week. We have two traps set – one with cheese and the other with chocolate. It hasn’t attempted to eat any of the food.
I was told peanut butter would catch it but even that hasn't helped. Last night I put a good dollop of peanut butter on the traps but they were untouched. I know it came out because I put a tiny crumb of biscuit on the carpet and that was gone!!
I got a new highly sensitive rentokil trap but that hasn't worked either!
I almost admire the little thing for being so clever but I really do want to get rid of it.
Any suggestions?

@ Andere - so true - they bring all sorts of offerings we don't want!!!
